The Tabernacle of God 3

‘Thy will be done in earth as it is done in heaven.’ The will of God is the mandate we have. We need to have walked and stayed to have this done. To handle the word of life is fighting the good fight of faith. Our faith is being able to handle the word of life. When faith is subverted, the will of God is subverted. It is by faith we believe. It is by it we were translated into the kingdom of His dear Son. To be able to keep on when there is a major battle. That is why we must contend for the faith which was once delivered to us. This is the victory that overcomes the world, our Faith!

We have an attitude of believing God, to believe in the invisible. It is easier to maintain hope. Though you can’t see it, you believe. And the entire gospel is about that, about believing. We constantly set our hearts to see the invisible. In the midst of men, we are bringing a world. It is easier to believe in the natural because you can relate with it. It is interesting to talk about it. But when we talk of the invisible, it is different. The invisible is God’s habitation. We have to hear about it until it becomes visible to us.

Moving us from this place (of the natural) to that invisible (supernatural) place is the commission. Each time we open the Bible, this is what opens. When you begin to see right, your prophetic assignment begins. You are a product of your eyes. That is the work of faith, using hope. Hope is able to bring what is far nearer. But faith is the substance so that we can see the reality NOW.

Zech 4:3-7

And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

 

Angels are sometimes amazed we don’t see these things, because to them, they are clearly seen. But even the angels, there are many things they don’t understand. It is by mercy we see the Lord. He revealed Himself to Abraham as El Shadai. He is the Almighty. He is inexhaustible. He spans the whole eternity with his being. He has no end. He is the Amen. But to Moses, he revealed himself as The I Am That I Am. He took him to the beginning. And He was describing the gospel to him. The end of which is eternal life but Abraham didn’t know that.

So there are things that are hidden. Whatever we know now is a little spec of what exists. An angel came to Daniel to give him understanding. Though Daniel was beloved of heaven, while the angel was bringing understanding, he was withstood by princes of light. But now we have a mediator who has given us access to abundant light! There are present heights and mountains that are problems to the seed of God—the things that we see. There are mountains that are not allowing men to see the light of God. The nations of the earth, apart from the things we see, are also mountains. The House of God is also a mountain. The place Lucifer wanted to preside over was the mountain of congregation.

Solomon’s temple consisted of stones that were mounted up. God doesn’t dwell in the plain. Satan himself is used to ascending mountains. Spirits don’t dwell on plains. Demons can still be cast down. The mountain is the mountain of stones—where stones interlock and become a habitation. The mountain of the Lord’s house is a habitation. That hill is mount Zion. That talks of spirits—interlocked spirits. Why the earth has become habitable is because mountains are raised.

There are mountains and there are heavens. Paradise is the third heaven where God dwells. By reason of the fall, Adam lost his heaven—the heaven of the earth. God related with the patriarchs who raised altars. When the children of Israel couldn’t approach the mountain of Sinai, altars became alternatives as He instructed them to raise altars. God doesn’t dwell in plains (Psalm 24:3); if satan wouldn’t come down there, how much more God. So as God’s children and beloved, we don’t have problems with mountains.

Ezekiel 28:11-19

After the fall, Lucifer took the air. So the air is a mountain. The air advantage is ascension into the mountains. The temple that was raised in Israel was a person. Coming to the gate of the outer court is itself separation from the earth. All the courts of the temple are realms in the spirit. The devil also has courts because he is a priest. That is where he sells lies to men. What represent that light are nations like Babylon. There, Babylon was a mountain. Tyre was another mountain. Those mountains are glories.

The prophet was addressing the mountain because it is a terror to God’s heritage. When that prophecy was fulfilled in Babylon, some Israelites didn’t want to come again. They were overcome. Jesus introduced a faith seed that can move this mountain. It is called the mustard seed faith. It is the kingdom seed. When God showed the revelation of that image to Nebuchadnezzar, it consisted of mountains. Other nations find their habitation in them.

Right now, the United Nations (UN) is a mountain. The earth has its present mountain. “Who are thou this mountain? Thou shalt become a plain.” God is crushing those mountains. When the stone struck the image, it hit the feet and it fell till it became a plain. When you see concretes laden with iron becoming like powder, it is the Lord. He was setting judgment inside them. That is what He did to Satan. He already put the fire that will consume him inside of him.

What the Lord has said is true. The agenda is serious in his Heart. When Zechariah saw the mountain, he also saw it as a plain. When we are seeing the mountain today, we must also see a plain, for the Lord has done it. We should know it for the patience we need will come from knowledge. You won stay in the building if you don’t have it in your heart.

There is no vacuum in the spirit. The present mountain is the present world. He saw a mountain and a plain like he saw suffering and glory. It seemed as though Christ suffered all through but in a moment the glory of the Father came and lifted him. This is the picture Daniel saw as an image (structure).

How can a stone grow? It grew and became a mountain that filled the earth. It shows you it was a mountain initially. It is not brick. It is not moulded. It is ancient. When the earth was founded, we just see that mountains were there. The devil doesn’t have what it takes to found that. What he has are not really mountains. That is why the mountains that had confronted us before are no more.

The building God is raising is Christ. It is the habitation of the fullness of God. The prophet saw this and shouted, “Grace!” And by this shouting is how the mountain arises. That shout is preaching. It shows that mountain as plain. “While we look not at things which are seen…” (2Cor 4:18)  Grace is intangible. If wisdom is not shown to you, you could get tired of the shout “Grace.” The message of grace must not dwindle in the heart. Don’t ever think it out. Grace laid the foundation and it will finish it. (Zech 4:9.) It is the gift of God. We don’t just need the action of faith but the unveiling of faith. To everyone is a given measure of this living faith.

We must begin to relate with the ministry of the spirit. “for the glory of the latter house shall greater than the former…” he was prophetically declaring the materials for this building—silver, gold. We need to know the spirit according to the ministry of grace. If silver and gold are substantial, then grace is. We are dealing with tangible resources of this hope.

1Cor 3:1-10

 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

The milk there talks about resources. To handle resources of grace is not natural. The natural man does not receive the things of the spirit. Only spiritual people can value them. Not relating with the resources of grace results in building a house of stubble. Grace builds. It is also called spiritual wisdom. And by wisdom is a house built. As we have been decked with natural wisdom, we must be decked with spiritual wisdom. Silver and gold are wisdom and understanding. When you get to the book of Proverb, you will see how much Solomon desired wisdom to raise the temple. God told the prophet, “the silver is mine, the gold is mine.” He could have just told them “wisdom and understanding…”

You are a tabernacle that should be raised. They are decking us with wisdom. They lead and when we can’t go further, they release us to come back later.

The temple has measurement and everything therein. God gave patterns and shapes of everything. Even the priests had prescriptions. Why is God particular or detailed about everything? There is a light that goes on there. Everything there has spiritual replication. When you got born-again, a measure of the walk was given to you. “Come boldly to the throne of grace…” Your devotion is a walk in the spirit. Life of the spirit is not haphazard. When you pray for wisdom and it’s like nothing is happening. When something begins to happen, you will begin to see the walk. (Ezekiel 47:1-5)

What has length, breadth, height and depth? These are measurement in the spirit which the Holy Ghost has calibration of. We don’t have it; but we have faith! When you see Paul’s writing, it looks calculative. He said you are babes. How do you measure babes? How do you know milk? How did he know when Christ is formed in you? These are the things going on inside of you, of which you don’t have discernment. There is need for heaven to open us up to the realm of life. You were born, not of this world. Your father has sent ministers to help you. What God is building in you must align with others he is building in men. We must be knitted. It is the demonstration of wisdom by the spirit.

God wants to break the barrier over us, to open us up to spiritual realm that Christ might dwell in our hearts by faith. If that does not happen, the building will rise according to our own will. But an invisible hand is behind us. “To him who is able to do exceeding, abundantly…” it is beyond our comprehension, but our hearts can lay old of them.

Without these operations, we cannot be saved. There is a need for the eyes of the Lord. Ezekiel saw the valley of the dry bones. In himself he didn’t know if the bones could live. So he said “Lord, you know.” We need to know the introduction of Faith; we need a word of Faith from the Holy Ghost, beyond the encouragement. Like Jesus met Mary, and she was excited to really touch Him, but Christ did not allow her to touch Him, the wisdom for Him to tell her not to touch Him consecrated and cleansed His tabernacle. He charted that course because He was able to ascend beyond the passion He had for Mary and look further into the salvation of many more. It is not about building churches for the Lord, but raising unto Him a Body.
